Powerful, Effective, & Positive Change
Kate's Holistic Healing & Meditation
is an organization of the finest certified holistic healers in the New York City area. Our professionals specialize in Hypnotherapy, Hypnosis, Acupuncture, Reiki, Yoga, and Homeopathy to name a few.
HYPNOSIS / HYPNOTHERAPY
The cornerstone of our alternative medicine practice is hypnotherapy. We believe hypnosis, guided meditation and hypnotherapy are the most beneficial and healing of our holistic services.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, it occurs naturally when you're first awake, falling asleep, watching TV, and many activities where you are totally focused and relaxed. The use of guided meditation is the most effective technique to help ease one into a hypnotic trance.
Hypnotherapy is interactive. During sessions, one speaks to the hypnotherapist while in a hypnotic trance. This has been studied and is widely considered one of the quickest ways to bring about positive change.
According to American Health Magazine:
Psychoanalysis 38% recovery after 600 sessions
Behavior Therapy 72% recovery after 22 sessions
Hypnotherapy 92% recovery after 6 sessions
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation, and healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive and that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Eating healthy is a large part of living well. Knowing what to eat and how to make healthy alternatives to your favorite foods is the main focus of our nutrition and cooking wellness program. This practice aims to teach you how to prepare quick, healthy and delicious meals for you and your family from a mix of fresh and prepared ingredients.
Homeopathy views disease as an imbalance in a person's "vital force" and the disease's symptoms are the body's best attempt to re-balance itself. Rather than eradicating symptoms as Western (allopathic) Medicine does, homeopathy addresses the underlying imbalance. These alternative remedies are made from plants, minerals, animals or even allopathic drugs such as penicillin. However, unlike allopathic drugs, they are diluted to such a degree that most doses are non-material. They are sold over-the-counter in many health food stores and some pharmacies and are FDA approved.
Tai Chi is a type of martial art very well known for its defense techniques and health benefits. The martial art has evolved over the years into an effective means of alleviating stress and anxiety. It has been considered to be a form of 'meditation in motion' which promotes serenity and inner peace.
A medical massage is an outcome-based massage. The application of the treatment is targeted to the specific ailment the patient has that has been diagnosed by a physician and is administered after a thorough assessment/evaluation by the medical massage therapist with specific outcomes being the basis for treatment.
Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific acupuncture points along the skin of the body involving various methods such as penetration by thin needles, heat, pressure, or laser light. The purpose of the practice is to clear energy blockages and encourage the normal flow of the qi through the individual. Though acupuncture aims to treat a range of conditions, it is most commonly used for pain relief.
Lymphedema refers to swelling that generally occurs in one of your arms or legs caused by a blockage in your lymphatic system, an important part of your immune and circulatory systems. The blockage prevents lymph fluid from draining well, and as the fluid builds up, the swelling continues. Lymphedema is most commonly caused by the removal of or damage to your lymph nodes as a part of cancer treatment.
To help manage this condition we offer lymphedema wrapping and massage to encourage the flow of the lymph fluid away from the swollen areas.
Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj", which means "to yoke" the spirit and physical body together. Modified to suit all levels of fitness, yoga has been proved to lower blood pressure and increase flexibility and strengthen the body.
Certified Hypnotherapist, Member of IACT (International Association of Counselors and Therapists)
Owner/Founder of Kate's Holistic Healing*
Services: Virtual Hypnotherapy
Kate holds an undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University in Economics and was certified as a Professional Hypnotherapist (2013) from IACT (International Association of Counselors and Therapists). These two seemingly diverse careers occurred during her 30 plus years of immersion and ongoing exploration of self-hypnosis, and by connecting to and recording messages from her spirit guide.
Kate began a career on Wall Street as a security analyst at Oppenheimer & Co, Inc. Forever curious, she excelled at researching data, interviewing senior bank management, estimating earnings, and providing the brokerage firm’s investment options for the major U.S. banks. Within three years she was a Vice President and Senior Security Analyst and worked at numerous brokerage firms over her long, illustrious career. Kate was among the top financial services analysts in the country and was named a Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst.
In her most recent work before retirement, Kate was a Deputy Manager at Brown Brothers Harriman & C0. and a Managing Director at Sandler O’Neill Partners, LP. She retired at age 40, less than a month before 9/11/01, the day of the September attacks, where she worked at Two World Trade Center, 104 Floor, and where 68 of her co-workers perished and transitioned on.
While Kate adored the work, the long hours and constant travel took a toll on her physical body. Wherein she entered her second career --professional patient. She excelled in this field as well, picking up over 40 medical titles (diseases/conditions.) Working with her guides, and other master healers, Kate further expanded and honed her healing skills, easily flowing through four, terminal conditions.
In 2003, Kate founded Kate's Holistic Healing of New York.* As a certified hypnotherapist, she works with an adult population. Her area of expertise is working with adults who have acute/chronic medical and emotional conditions. Through hypnotherapy, clients are taught to use their own bodies' natural power to heal. Hypnotherapy is simply a miraculous, natural way to return the body to its proper healthy state with only positive side effects.

Connecting to One's Spirit Guide(s)
Kate is a born and bred New Yorker. She remains in the borough living with her wonderful husband, Tony, and their cat. Her life’s path has been to learn, teach and help others. She loves the energy created when working with clients, and when communicating with her Spirit Guide Costada, and reintroducing clients to their “guides.” In recent years she has been channeling messages for herself as well as others from the Acturians.
Kate is a published author and currently working on her third book, The Angel's Guide to Happiness & Prosperity.
Kate Blecher has a long history of public speaking in the media and at industry conferences. She has also written and published extensively over her career.
As the top-ranked wall street security analyst following the banking industry, she published three to four reports a week. These reports were frequently picked up in the media. As a result of her published work in her standing in the industry, she was interviewed at least weekly on television and radio. She appeared predominately on MSNBC, Bloomberg News, and NBC.
As an analyst, Ms. Blecher was also cited at least daily in the press. She was quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the American Banker and leading European and regional publications in the US.
Aside from being quoted in articles and a frequent participant in Roundtable commentaries, she had four articles that were published about her and her accomplishments. These articles appeared in Newsday, Redbook, and the American Banker.
She was a regular presenter at the annual consumer finance conference, taught investment courses at Fidelity investments and presented at meetings on various FASB accounting regulations.
In addition, due to her unique and complicated medical history, various medical papers have been written about her. She was not mentioned by name in these reports to maintain her privacy.
When she completed her training as a certified hypnotherapist, she formed Kate’s Holistic Healing, Inc.. She leveraged her company’s exposure with their five-year, biweekly television show. The show consisted of Ms. Blecher interviewing different holistic healers and having them demonstrate their area of expertise on one of her volunteers.
Lastly, she has published two books on meditation and spirit guides. The books are well received and were reviewed in multiple publications. She was also interviewed on TV and radio after her books debuted.
“Kate truly opened my mind to the possibilities of life in other dimensions, past lives, and future potential - peace, tranquility, and love."

NEW RELEASE! Summer, 2022
The Angels' Guide to Happiness & Prosperity is an uplifting book that reveals you're always protected and never alone. Even if you don't believe in angels—or aren't sure they exist—your angels or "spirit guides" are with you: watching over you, loving you, and sending you messages you may interpret as instincts, insights, or “gut” feelings.
My book will show how to talk with your angels to identify and overcome the negative emotions and obstacles we all face. For example: illness, anxiety, loneliness, anger, grief, depression, low self-esteem, etc. Communicating with your guides isn't just about feeling better, it's about discovering what's causing your emotional response and perception—learning to take greater understanding to be able to guide your thoughts and lives.
